Continuous Insurance Enforcement (CIE)
You will no doubt be aware of the approaching launch of CIE, currently expected to be June.
The expectation previously on Motor Trade was that amendments to declared vehicles would be notified within 14 days. In view of CIE we must now request that amendments are notified to Underwriters immediately.
This will protect your clients from unnecessary Police stops and possible seizures as well as helping us to meet our regulatory obligations.
