KGM Motor Insurance, a specialist provider of motor insurance products to niche markets announces today that it will be hosting a programme of broker forums across the country.
The underwriting agency will be embarking on series of events covering England and Scotland throughout this year and next.
Active underwriter Colin Hart explains the decision to hold the events: "KGM is a broker only underwriting agency and we are reviewing our processes across all areas of our business to ensure that we focus on brokers' needs first. These forums have two objectives: to ensure that we understand and respond to the issues that are important to brokers and to share the latest market insight and data that we have access to as a Lloyds underwriter."
The forums will be hosted by KGM's senior personnel and will provide the opportunity for brokers to debate some of the key issues in the industry including the future of personal lines distribution and how to get the most from online trading.
Clive Woods from Advance Insurance attended a recent event in the South West. He said: "It's rare for brokers to get together and discuss common issues, it's only an insurer who can bring brokers together and this event made us appreciate that actually there's a lot that we can help each other with. It was a great opportunity to sit down with the CEO of an insurer."
The next KGM broker forum will take place in Leicester on Thursday 8th October.
