KGM appoints Innovation Group as claims service provider

KGM Motor Insurance, a specialist provider of motor insurance products to niche markets, today announced the appointment of Innovation Group as its preferred supplier of outsourced claims services. The three-year appointment follows a competitive tender process and Innovation Group replaces incumbent Elite Incident Management.
Martyn Hardy, Claims Director at KGM, comments: “We have worked in partnership with Elite over the past six years. Given our ambitious growth plans, however, we felt it timely to review the marketplace to ensure we had the right provider on board with the capabilities of supporting KGM as we go forward. It was equally important to listen to our broker partners and understand their needs. We have always prided ourselves on giving them direct access not only to our underwriters, but also our claims expertise so their opinion was a key consideration for us.
“We were impressed by the robustness of the Innovation Group offering. In particular, its multi-site operation will allow us to easily scale up our requirements and ensure we can deliver a consistent level of service at all times – something we know is incredibly important to our brokers. I am delighted to enter into this new relationship and am confident that brokers will be equally delighted with the efficiency of our claims service going forward.”
Innovation Group, the specialist BPO service and software solutions provider to insurers and other risk carriers will provide KGM with notification of first loss and associated claims management services including supply chain management, technical engineering and subrogation management services.

KGM Motor Insurance has been providing brokers with a range of specialist motor products including cover for classic cars and motorcycles for over 50 years. It was the first Lloyd’s underwriter to launch multi-vehicle cover in 2005 and continues to innovate in the introduction of new niche motor insurances.
