Claims Administrator

Department: Claims

Reporting To: Assistant Claims Manager

Location: South Woodford

Role Purpose

To support the Claims Department by undertaking daily administrative duties.

Key Accountabilities

  • To effectively sort the daily morning post.
  • To accurately complete departmental filing.
  • To identify references from the computer system for unidentified post.
  • To provide required files for the Claims handlers and maintain handlers file diary.
  • Identify outstanding post.
  • Input daily new claims onto the computer system together with inputting of reserves and production of letter as required.
  • To assist the department with other required inputting duties.

Skills

  • Good organisation.
  • Computer literate, MS Office.
  • Team player.

No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

This position does involve long amounts of standing to carry out filing.
