ROLE PURPOSE
Provide technical support to the Underwriting Department across a range of tasks including statistical and analytical reports.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide required analytical reports using industry standard tools such as ‘What If?’.
- Assist with the interaction with broker software providers and providers of analytical tools.
- Develop and maintain the use of demographics which is key to the development of our book rated products including CACI (demographic software).
- Assist with the maintenance of products on internal systems including policy details on the internet.
- Conduct Realistic Disaster Scenario’s modeling (e.g. floods, windstorms etc).
- Carry out aggregate exposure monitoring and reports.
- Ensure postcode updates from the Royal Mail are updated on the system.
- Update policy wordings as required in policy booklets.
- Complete EDI errors and rejections in a timely manner.
- Provide MI to the business as required.
- Participate in ad hoc duties as required to effectively maintain the smooth running of the department.
